Our focus areas have evolved over time. We started with taking on search assignments from internationally oriented law firms. Soon afterwards, inhouse-roles completed our portfolio.

In the last years, individual counselling and placement of lawyers into new positions has staken centre stage.

Our unique data base of transactions and other mandates comprises nearly all publically available information on the German transaction market. Every quarter, we report trends and highlights in our German language publication „Transaktionsmonitor“.

We place experienced attorneys of all business law practice groups and inhouse lawyers into new positions. A placement will at times call for some stocktaking, often for a frank exchange on professional and personal goals, and always for precise knowledge of the legal market. We have been offering all of this for 15 years.

Every career goes through (or misses) turning points and development steps – with or without a change of employer. Sometimes, you may need a perspective that goes beyond what your partner, colleagues and friends can offer in order to clearly see your own interests and pursue them adequately.  Here, we can step in as uninvolved counsellors with fitting experience. On a side note: We see that our advice often yields financial benefits, and our fees are mostly well-invested money even from a purely financial point of view.

We fill positions for partners and experienced lawyers in law firms all over Germany. We understand law firm economics and the close connection of people matters to strategy. If of use, we compile market studies and support team / office build-ups as well as outplacements.

For all legal positions, we use a practice-proven competency model in order to think and talk precisely about employer requirements and candidate qualities. Transparence in our cooperation is important to us: our clients receive – if they wish – detailed progress reports and are kept in the loop constantly.

Analyses
Since 2011, we have been collecting publicly available information on mandates from commercial law firms in a database that is unique in this form. We evaluate this data at regular intervals for our clients and candidates.
